Pardon & Clemency Support

Benson Jewish Foundation

Helping Restore Dignity, Freedom, and
Hope Through Advocacy and Legal Relief

Overview

At the Benson Jewish Foundation, we believe that every individual deserves the opportunity for redemption. Our Pardon & Clemency Support Program is an extension of our ReBuild Initiative, designed to assist individuals who are seeking a second chance through legal relief, whether currently incarcerated or previously convicted.

We work closely with qualified legal partners, advocates, and faith-based coalitions to help individuals navigate the complex process of applying for:

  • Presidential Pardons
  • Gubernatorial Pardons
  • Commutations of Sentence
  • Clemency Petitions
  • Expungements and Record Relief

Who We Serve

We assist:

  • Returning citizens re-entering society
  • Individuals with outdated convictions that hinder employment or housing
  • Families applying on behalf of loved ones
  • Faith-based advocates representing justice-involved individuals

Our team evaluates each applicant’s eligibility, history, and goals — then builds a case rooted in rehabilitation, remorse, and readiness to contribute positively to society.
